The Painless Pain

It makes me feel no more again, It’s my friend the painless pain.

Since childhood I went on smiling, twinkling, smirking and giggling.

It gives me a reason to live once again,

It’s my friend the painless pain.

Overcoming all the hurdles,

I made it to the end.

It makes me renounce the world again,

It’s my friend the painless pain.

Lockdown, assignments, stress and fame,

dragging myself into the saddest lane, restricted me to be insane,

It’s my friend the painless pain.

I tried giving my best every time, But getting kicked out all the time.

Pushing me far from the materialistic game,

It’s my friend the painless pain.

This pandemic made me lower interests,

failing in almost all life tests. Helping me to stand again, It’s my friend the painless pain.

It makes me feel no more again, It’s my friend the painless pain.
